Petra Alexander receives Papal Award

Petra Alexander, Director of the Office of Hispanic Affairs for the Diocese of San Bernardino received the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice award on May 23, 2016. The Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice is a medal award given to lay people or clergy for distinguished service to the Church. It is the highest level of recognition for lay people a Pope can award. Petra currently serves at the Vice-President for the National Catholic Association of Diocesan Directors of Hispanic Ministry. The National Team of Accompaniment of the V National Encuentro of Hispanic/Latino Ministry congratulates Petra for her dedication to ministry and for her service to the Church and the Hispanic Community. ¡Felicidades!
