Day Three:  Walking together with JesusSign of the Cross: In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Intention of the Day:  For the success of the Diocesan EncuentrosOración de Apertura: (todos) Padre misericordioso, tu que nos has dado a tu Hijo Jesucristo, permite que descubramos en él nuestra guía en la obscuridad y a escuchar su Palabra. Ayúdanos a contemplarlo, adorarlo y a descansar en él. Que sea su Evangelio el medio con el que construiremos tu Reino en el mundo; que su ejemplo sea para nosotros el ritmo sanador de nuestro prójimo, para que su mirada de misericordia sea la nuestra y podamos así respetar, sanar, liberar y alentar a nuestros hermanos, y de esta manera dirigirlos hacia la madurez de la vida cristiana. Prayer for the Fifth National Encuentro of Hispanic/Latino Ministry

God of Mercy, You that went out to encounter the disciples on the way to Emmaus, grant us a missionary spirit and send us forth to encounter our brothers and sisters, to walk along beside them, listen to their hopes and dreams, rekindle their faith with the fire of your Word, prepare them to recognize you in the Eucharist and send them as missionary disciples to share the joy of the Gospel to present and future generations of every race, language and culture. We ask you this from our burning hearts filled with the Holy Spirit, in the Name of your beloved Son and through the intercession of our Mother, Mary of Guadalupe Star of the New Evangelization Amen.
