Meet Michelle Orellana

Michelle Orellana is a native of Washington, D.C. and is proud to be a second-generation Hispanic/Latina in America. As a child born of two immigrant parents, the mission of the V Encuentro is one that is close to her heart. The commitment of V Encuentro to unify diverse cultures under one Church is something she is truly grateful to be a part of. Michelle attended Trinity University in Washington, DC and majored in psychology. Her interests include hiking, cycling, and volunteering with several non-profit organizations across the Washington, DC area. As the Bilingual Staff Assistant in the Secretariat of Cultural Diversity, Michelle will provide administrative support to both the Subcommittee on Hispanic Affairs and the Subcommittee on Native American Affairs. She will be producing material for the website Por Tu Matrimonio, and will also be assisting Alejandro Aguilera-Titus in the preparations of V Encuentro.
