Meet Mayra Reyes

Research Communications Specialist Mayra Reyes was born and raised in Albuquerque, New México where she completed studies at the University of New Mexico in Middle Eastern and Latin American Affairs. Mayra speaks English and Spanish, and has a minor in Arabic. Since the first trainings conducted in the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, Mayra has been actively involved in the V Encuentro process. Serving as Parish Coordinator for St. Francis Xavier Parish in Albuquerque, Mayra also represented the Archdiocese as a young voice and new leader when she spoke at the Archdiocesan Encuentro in October of this year. In her new role with the V Encuentro, Mayra will be making contact with many of you and your colleagues as the Research Team collects the Diocesan Final Reports, gathers information for the statistical summaries, and engages in a National Census of Hispanic/Latin@ Ecclesial Ministers. Please welcome Mayra and assist her as needed in the coming months so that the V Encuentro consultation may come to a successful conclusion in a timely manner. Mayra commented,
