Meet Christina Chabali

Christina Chabali is excited to be part of the Secretariat of Cultural Diversity in the Church at USCCB. A native of Dayton, Ohio, she has lived in Washington, D.C. for the past year and has experience interning and working at The Alliance to End Hunger and The International Republican Institute. The daughter of a Cuban refugee, Christina is grateful to have been raised bilingual, and as a result, has developed a love for the Spanish language and cultures in which it is spoken. Christina is a graduate of the University of Dayton, a Catholic, Marianist institution, which provided her with opportunities to study and volunteer in Spain, Guatemala, Belize, and Mexico. Through these experiences and her many experiences in faith communities at UD, specifically becoming a Lay Marianist, Christina realized her passion for Hispanic ministry, and is looking forward to learning more about diversity within the Church. As the Bilingual Staff Assistant in the Secretariat of Cultural Diversity, Christina will be assisting both the Subcommittee on Hispanic Affairs and the Subcommittee on Native American Affairs. She will be producing material for Por Tu Matrimonio, and will also be assisting Alejandro Aguilera-Titus in the preparation of V Encuentro. 2015 © ENAVE.  All Rights Reserved.
