Call for V Encuentro Logo Proposals

The National Team of Accompaniment of the V Encuentro (ENAVE) proudly invites Catholic artists in the United States to enter digital submissions of the logo for the Fifth National Encuentro of Hispanic/Latino Ministry. The selected logo will appear on all electronic, print, and promotional materials associated with the V Encuentro. The V Encuentro is a multi-year process of ecclesial reflection on Hispanic/Latino ministry, convened by the Catholic bishops of the United States. A major gathering will crystalize this effort in 2018. The process is envisioned as a major exercise of leadership development and formation initiatives. There will be Encuentros (gatherings) at the parish, diocesan, regional and national levels aiming at engage about 1 million Catholics in the country.

  • Only original work will be accepted (no stock or clip art images). By submitting a design, artists guarantee that they own all rights and are not using copyrighted material in any form.

  • Designs must be submitted in PDF or jpg format only. Artwork drawn by hand is acceptable, but must be scanned.

  • Design files should not exceed 5MB. The author of the selected submission must provide a high resolution version of the design.

  • Successful proposals must capture and convey the spirit of the V Encuentro theme: “Discípulos misioneros: Testigos del amor de Dios” / “Missionary Disciples: Witnesses of God’s Love.” This theme is inspired in the words of Pope Francis in Evangelii Gaudium, n. 24, which we strongly recommend reading.

  • Artists may submit multiple designs, each file as a separate entry.

  • Artists must be older than eighteen years of age. Younger artists may submit their design with a parent or guardian.
